BES Investment Poland
Espírito Santo Investment has been present in Poland since 2005 when it established a Joint Venture with a local M&A boutique. Since then BES Investment (‘BESI’) has been active in advising both Polish and International companies on the Polish market, gaining several mandates and participating in several transactions, both between Polish companies and also cross-border, leveraging on BESI’s extensive experience, track record and client base.
In 2007 BESI strengthened its presence in Poland by opening a local branch, which has operational since the second quater of 2008. The branch is a member of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and has been active in intermediating transactions on the market on behalf of its clients, which are both Polish and International Institutional Investors. BESI has a team of 5 local Equity analysts covering the principal companies on the WSE. BESI has also been active in Structured Finance, teaming up with the product teams based in Lisbon, Madrid and London. BESI is looking for other opportunities to strengthen its presence and its team in Poland.
