Banque Privée Espirito Santo (‘BPES’), ESFG’s Swiss based private banking operations, continued to report strong results in 2008. BPES also celebrated a milestone in its internationalisation plans by the opening of its Lisbon office and a representative office in Porto. This move sets to broaden BPES’ scope and client base.  BPES’ Swiss based operations moved installations in late 2008 on the back of continued business growth.
